The following information was taken from the STRUM Family Bible. This bible was published in 1838 by: Hogan and Thompson, 30 N. 4th St., Philadelphia, Penn.
"Inside this bible was a confederate ten dollar bill when my father got the Bible, but due to a twist of fate Clarence NANCE got this bill. I don't know where it is, Clarence is in a rest home at Hopkinsville, Ky."
NOTE by Nancy Trice: I don't know who wrote the above note or when, nor do I know who has the bible at this time. A copy of the bible pages was given to me in 1995 by Linda Qualls, a 1st cousin of my husband. I believe that Clarence NANCE died in 1997.
