This was an unnamed NANCE child of Ruffin and Roxanne: DIED. We are pained to chronicle the death of the infant daughter of Mr. and Mrs. R. B. Nance--- which occurred April 24th, 1894. Though the little one's stay on earth was but one short month, yet it had endeared itself to each member of the family, and will be sadly missed. Sorrow not dear ones as those who have no hope for of such is the kingdom of God; and though, you cannot on earth press the baby fingers, yet we hope in the grand reunion to see and know each other there. There is no death, what seems so is transition This life of mortal breath Is but a suburb of the life elysian, Whose portal we call death. She is not dead, the child of our affection, But gone unto that school Where she no longer needs our pro- Protection Where Christ himself doth rules
