Woodrow Russell NANCE, Jr., 63, of Tazewell, TN., was born March 12, 1938
and passed away December 16, 2001 at Claiborne County Hospital. He was of the Methodist Faith. He was retired from the Air Force and a Vietnam Veteran.
He was retired from the Department of Human Services of Claiborne County. He was preceeded in death by his parents: Woodrow and Sarah Elizabeth Nance; sister,
Barbara Disney. Survivors include his wife, Wanda Nance of Tazewell; daughters and son-in-law:, Sonia Kinback of Jensen Beach, FL., Denise and Eddie Bunch of
Knoxville; brother and sister-in-law: Mike and Linda Nance of Los Vegas, NV., sisters and brother-in-law: Mary and Glenn M. Humphrey of Clinton, Sarah and Dykie
Runion of North Carolina; 4 grandchildren; and 1 great grandchild. Funeral services were held 7 p.m. Tuesday, December 18 in the Claiborne Funeral Home Chapel with
Rev. Leonard Brooks officiating. Graveside services will be held 11 a.m. Wednesday, December 19 at Irish Memorial Gardens in Tazewell. Pallbearers: Employees of the
Department of Human Services. Claiborne Funeral Home in charge.

Woodrow R. NANCE, Sr. , of Clinton, TN., -
passed from this life on 2-21-01 at his home at the age of 87. He is preceded in death by his wife, Elizabeth Nance and daughter, Barbara Disney.
He is survived by sons, Woodrow Nance, Jr & wife, Wanda Nance of Tazewell, Mike Nance, & wife Linda Nance of Las Vegas, Nev.; daughters, Mary Humphrey
& husband Glen M. Humphrey of Clinton, & Sara Runion & husband, Dykie Runion of NC. Mr. Nance has 13 grandchildren & 6 great grandchildren.
Woody was well known for his big pumpkins and beautiful flowers until his illness. Funeral services will be held at Anderson County Funeral Home in Clinton.
The family will be receiving friends on 2-23-01 from 6-8 p.m. and funeral services immediately following with Rev. Ernest Wright officiating the service.
Mr. Nance will be buried at Sartin Cemetary in Clinton at 1 p.m. on 2-24-01.
